space.matters presents interactive installations at the crossroad of architecture and electronic arts. The projects are not designed for the exploration and orientation within their “completed content” – the visitors are motion tracked via video cameras and their movement and reaction to the visual and acoustic content of each piece are (directly) responsible for re-configuration. The exhibition aims at opening these forms of art to a broad public and to establish a dialogue about the relation between users and the reality-constituting electronic processes of everyday life. Conceived as an experimental space research, wherein the user interactions configure the pieces, the exhibition itself is essential for the spectrum of the projects.
