Anna Schregers paintings, her drawings and objects refer to the tactile world, which has a playful dimension by nature. Cryptical organic bodies forcing – in two-dimensional and three-dimensional space – the visitors to grasp and thereby engage. With their non-definition the motives should appear mysterious, curious, unsettling and in parallel humours. By means of an intense graphical study of their surface characteristics, not only seeing, but also the sense of touch is provoked, stimulated and allured.
